I’ve been thinking the same thing for quite awhile: every line of defense will fail us, the courts, the congress, and Trump himself. If our country is to continue, it will be we the people ourselves, the last check, who will save this country. And, it will be violent and bloody. If you are not willing to fight, as Samuel Adams said:

“If ye love wealth better than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude
better than the animating contest of freedom,
go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,
and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”
