Turns out 7075 takes longer than CPU heatsinks to etch to the same depth. Will increase etching time when we do the Fire/Safe markings. Overall I’m very pleased with the outcome.

First attempt at electro-etching my son\’s lower receiver. Illinois is mostly anti-gun but our county board has passed a resolution stating that Pike county is a sanctuary county.

Anybody else going to make the pilgrimage to Richmond, Virginia on January 20th for Lobby Day? I found a gun and knife show in Harrisonburg on the 18th and 19th so I can make some money and “justify” the trip (it’s only a short 12-hour drive for me to get to Harrisonburg).
