On April 19, 1775 Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith led a British column of 800 British regulars from Boston (where there were more than 3000 British soldiers under Major General Thomas Gage) to seize the arms and munitions of t he patriot militia at Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts. On the morning of April 19th, Smith’s redcoats engaged a company of local Minutemen at Lexington, killing several and scattering them. At Concord, 19 miles northwest of Boston, Smith found only part of the gunpowder he expected to find, the remaining part having been secreted when militiamen got word the night before from Samuel Prescott, an associate of Paul Revere who, among others, brought advance word of the British approaching. The Massachusetts Minutemen harried the royal troops as they retreated to Boston, inflicting 273 casualties. Soon afterward militia contingents from all over New England took up positions outside Boston, putting the city under siege. Forts Ticonderoga and Crown Point in upstate New York fell to other rebel parties. Paul Revere never made it to Concord on the night of April 18, 1775. He had ridden from Charlestown to Lexington spreading word of the British advance but there was not adequate time for the Lexington patriots to muster a sizable opposition. An official courier for the Massachusetts Committee of Correspondence, Revere arrived in Lexington shortly before another rider, William Dawes. He warned John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the need to escape. Revere then set out for Concord along with Dawes and Samuel Prescott, only to be stopped by a British patrol. Only Sam Prescott reached Concord. Revere’s ride was nonetheless celebrated in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s famous, though largely inaccurate poem, “Paul Revere’s Ride.” A leader of the Sons of Liberty, Paul Revere had previously engaged in numerous rebellious activities including the Boston Tea Party in 1773. During World War II, Warsaw, the capital of Poland, was the location of a Ghetto established by the invading Germans for the confinement of Jews. By 1940 there were more than 400,000 Jews in the crowded Warsaw Ghetto. Over time, many Ghetto Jews died from starvation and disease and some 300,000 more were sent to concentration camps. Having reduced the number of Jews to about 60,000, German troops subsequently reduced the area of the ghetto drastically. In the spring of 1943, occupants of the Warsaw Ghetto rebelled against their German tormentors. On April 19, 1943, the ghetto was attacked by a heavily armed force consisting of more than 2,000 German soldiers in addition to Lithuanians and Polish police and fire fighters. The Jews, armed with only a few pistols, rifles, and machine guns taken from the Germans, plus a few homemade weapons, put up a heroic resistance against impossible odds for nearly 30 days. The Nazis countered by setting the ghetto afire block by block. When Jews tried to use the sewers as a means of escape, the Germans flooded and smoke-bombed the sewers. By mid-May about 20,000 of the Jewish resisters had been killed in the streets of the Warsaw Ghetto and another 36,000 had been taken to the gas chambers. On April 19, 1993, U.S. government forces launched their final assault on the Branch Davidian religious community at Waco Texas resulting in the deaths of 76 men, women and children. It is not at all overwrought to state that the Constitution was overthrown on that date. We are now in the phase where they still pretend, at least sometimes, to uphold the Constitution, although they are working feverishly to change that pretense, when they can openly say it no longer matters; whereas now, they completely ignore it, and do whatever they want. All the agencies at their disposal are being used to consolidate their absolute, permanent power, but, at least as of now, we have a small window of opportunity to reverse the coup and remove them. Meanwhile, the communists are working to vilify, crush, silence, and imprison any any all opposition, ie, January 6 prisoners, etc. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were not elected, and are not the President or Vice President, and they should be removed immediately. Other actors should be put on trial and deal with appropriately. Much of the subversion, we are learning from the Twitter files, the Wuhan "epidemic," etc., are being carried out by American intelligence/national security/investigatory agencies, which seem to comprise much of the "deep state." We are fighting a multi-front war, which necessitates a multi-front response from us. We cannot give in on anything. One of the key items is election fraud. Whatever means they used, they have developed them to successfully steal elections, and our side will not win until we fix elections. A key element must include fortifying ourselves locally with alternative methods of food, medicine, communications, transportation, etc. We must stop using big everything: big stores, big banks, big media, big mail order, etc. Critically, we need to network with our neighbors, and take control of county government, which is the seat of most of the power that actually affects us. If all else fails, and so far it has, we can defy the federal and state governments, and make our counties freedom sanctuaries. If they invade, we can deal with them. If it comes to the point in different states where it is obvious that the cheating cannot be overcome, then those states must resort to means proscribed by the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers. To do any less is to surrender. There are areas where we need to draw a hard red line, and then our side needs to stop capitulating, and we need to defend those red lines, and stand with our neighbors. That was done successfully at Bundy Ranch, the Malheur Wildlife reserve. That was not done successfully with the Branch Davidians. There was mixed success with Randy Weaver. The jury is out on Whiskey Warrior 556. It would be nice to think that there are a few Sheriffs who will stand with us, but I doubt if that will be case most of the time. Who, after all, was enforcing all the mask mandates, closing businesses, etc.? Who wasn't doing anything to defend individuals and businesses? Some of those red lines include: a. any gun confiscation of any sort on any scale, including red flag laws, AR pistol, or bump stock ban enforcement; b. any kidnapping of children by any entity; c. any attempt to forcibly place someone in any camp of any sort, whether quarantine, re-education, etc.; d. any attempt to forcibly quarantine someone anywhere, including in their home with no probable cause of a dangerous, contagious illness; d. any forced medical procedure, including vaccines; e. any forcible denial of food or access to purchasing food on the open market; f. any home invasions engendered by a left-wing political agenda (not because you robbed a bank or are selling drugs out of your home, etc.). g. any forcible closure of businesses for “pandemic” or politically correct reasons; h. any surgical or chemical “transgender” butchery of our children. None of the above precludes civil disobedience, which is an effective tool, but, in the face of violent enforcement of violations of the Second Amendment, we must have an effective response. The primary is at least as important as the general election, because that is when we have a chance to select an America first candidate. Otherwise, it'll probably be selecting either a RINO or a Democrat. Further reading could determine if this includes early voting and mail in ballots, which are probably controlled by state law, the County Commissioners, the County Clerk, or the Elections Administrator. It would be cool to be able to eliminate early voting.] For a Primary Election ONLY (including the run-off), the Party is actually in charge of the election per Title 10 of the Election Code. There is a lot in it. But it does give the party the power to run the Primary and actually requires it in some circumstances. There are also lots of other sections of the Election code that deal with the primary. [significant issues include: paying for the printing of secure ballots--enough so there's no way you can run out; having a handicapped assisting ballot marking device (which doesn't have to count the votes, just mark them for handicapped people. Austin St. bring photo ID, preferably a driver’s license Any registered voter may vote, but, if you voted in either the Democratic or Republican primary, you may only vote in that party’s election. My Bio I am running for Republican Precinct Chairman for Precinct 13 in Gillespie County, Texas, so I thought I’d write a little bio that is relevant to that objective. First, what does a Precinct Chairman do? The 13 Precinct Chairmen in Gillespie County, along with the County Chairman, Mo Saiidi, are the County Republican Party, called the County Executive Committee. we make decisions for the county Republican Party, sometimes we are election judges for elections, we can issue statements and resolutions, we try to increase voter turnout for conservative Republican candidates in each of our Precincts Summary of my qualities for the position: --A lifetime history of activism defending life, liberty, and the Constitution; --Involvement in the Republican Party (excepting 1998?) since I was 18; --Proven record of opposing the Republican establishment when that is necessary. I am 57 years old, a Christian, have 8 home-schooled children, have been an activist in conservative and Christian causes since middle school. I’ve been active in the Republican party since I was first able to vote, when I assisted with Reagan/Bush 84. I’ve attended many Precinct and County conventions, and about 5 state conventions, and offered many resolutions. Was a Precinct Chairman several times before now; I was an election judge Nov 2, 2021, and March 1, 2022, and was assistant election judge in 1984. Jobs I’ve done Texas State Guard (Sergeant when I withdrew) cashier, cart attendant, radio announcer (KDRY am1100 in San Antonio), chemistry lab, security guard, private investigator, pizza order taker machine operator for 13 years, including 8 for Dave Campbell in his machine shop. Texas Peace Officer (Waelder, Johnson City) government high school teacher (Uvalde HS) currently working as a land surveyor, since 2012 Education --Graduated with honors, Fredericksburg High School --BA in English, UTSA While at UTSA, I established a student organization to bring the conservative, Christian viewpoint to campus. The group was called Student for Fundamental Change. We stirred things up the whole time I was there. --Certified English Teacher As a homeschooling father, I had ongoing concerns about government restricting home schooling, so in 1994 earned a teaching certificate in secondary English, and taught at Uvalde HS. I figured, if I have a teaching certificate, they can’t tell me I can’t teach, and maybe somehow I can help other home schoolers as well. --AACOG: Texas Basic Peace Officer’s license Highlights and achievements --guns, babies, Texas history, freedom, resisting the Wuhan tyranny, upholding the Constitution, and butting heads with the Republican Establishment Beginning in the mid 1980s I worked with pro-life Republicans in the San Antonio area to replace the establishment with those who would uphold pro-life principles. It was a huge battle. 1989 I participated with Operation Rescue in a number of actions against abortion clinics, and was arrested twice for criminal trespass for peacefully blocking the doors to keep the mothers from killing their children. Through our efforts, we managed to save a number of babies, and we closed the A to Z abortion clinic. I’ve also attended numerous pro-life rallies and protests. There was one interesting incident that occurred at one of the abortion clinics when I was on probation for the two arrests. A Rescue (peacefully blocking doors) was happening, and the rescuers had been pulled from the side door, and most of the attention was on the front door. I saw a couple ladies headed for the side door. I didn’t see any police nearby, so I went and stood in the doorway and said to the ladies, where are you going? They said, in there, I said, no you’re not. And they left. When in college, I joined the Texas State Guard, and stayed in until it became too much of a burden on my family. When I left in the mid 1990s, I was a Sergent. In 1992 I had a hand in the Republican Party of Texas adopting its first ever resolution on concealed carry of hand guns. I arranged for sympathetic members to be placed in the relevant sub-committee, then testified before the sub-committee on this matter, and brought an NTARC (North Texas Arms Rights Coalition) expert witness to also testify in favor of concealed carry, and we persuaded the committee to adopt the resolution. My impression was the that the resolution would not have passed if we hadn’t been there. A similar resolution on assault weapons failed. 1993 Bill Clinton became President, and pushed the assault weapons ban, and attacked the Branch Davidians. I was very concerned with efforts to violate the Second Amendment, and I came up with the idea of the Come And Take It flag with the AR-15/M-16, and copyrighted it. I went to a number of libraries and researched the history of the event on Oct 2, 1835, when Mexican troops marched on the town of Gonzales to confiscate their cannon, and the Texans answered with gunfire. That event started the Texas revolution that ended up at the Alamo, and then San Jacinto. I have given away tens of thousands of copies of this history. I have appeared in numerous parades and rallies with the modernized Come And Take It flag, including parades in Fredericksburg. I have also carried a large version of the flag--12’x20’--with a .50 BMG rifle to rallies in Austin, and I attended the Lobby Day rally in Richmond, Virginia in Jan 2020 with the big flag, and conducted a radio interview with NPR which aired nationally. I was also interviewed by French expatriate Stan Berteloot for his podcast Back In America. In 1993 during the siege of the Branch Davidians, a number of us wanted to try to rescue them. Our plan was to have enough people that we could simply walk up to the church and walk them out. We were afraid the feds were going to kill them. We met near the Davidian homes/church, but, unfortunately, only a couple hundred people showed up to help, and we figured we didn’t have enough people to do anything. My friends went there a couple more times before the feds burned alive most of the people there. In about 1997 I started www.comeandtakeit.com, which presents the history of the Come And Take It flag, and various versions for sale. Also about that time, www.godandguncontrol.com, which discusses what the Bible says about the personal ownership and use of weapons. 2005 earned a Texas Peace Officers license, and worked as a patrol officer for the Waelder PD for 2 years, and then for the Johnson City PD for 2 years. Lost my job with the Johnson City PD because the Sergeant decided he didn’t like me views. We had a meeting, and they asked me, if the President (Obama at the time) told us to confiscate everyone’s guns, would you do it? I said I would uphold the Constitution. They said, you have to follow your orders. I insisted that I would uphold the Constitution. The Chief and the Sergeant went around the room asking all the other officers if they would confiscate people’s guns if ordered to do so, and they said they would. Hopefully, the other officers lied. They also knew about my arrests with Operation Rescue, saving babies. They asked, if you found someone doing the same thing you were doing (peacefully blocking doors), would you arrest them? I said, I will not help kill children. The Sergeant privately said he wished he had looked more carefully into my background, and he was sorry he hired me, and he was going to look into removing me. I lost my job not long after that. It may be noteworthy that the Sergeant was later arrested on felony charges. (On a side note, just because someone is a police officer in a small community doesn’t mean they will uphold the Constitution. They were probably educated in the government school system where some variety of Critical Race Theory is taught; where America is considered evil, and where they are taught anyone who supports the Constitution is a terrorist and a white supremacist. There are also rabidly leftist organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center that provide a lot of propaganda to police agencies, to turn officers against the Constitution and against those who support it. I have seen first-hand how effective their propaganda is.) In 2006, a number of friends an I supported Nathan Macias for State Rep, a candidate unpopular with the local Republican establishment. To punish us for not going along with the program, when the Republican County Convention was held, the chairman and others broke the Republican Party rules, and Texas election law, and shut us out of the process, and prevented us from attending the State Convention. They also did things that sound similar to what we see today, like bringing in overwhelming numbers of illegal votes, and refusing to turn over records. A number of us prepared a challenge to what the Republican establishment had done, and we took it to the State Convention. The State convention agreed that wrongs had been committed, and the two who headed up the activities were ousted from the State Convention. I wrote an account of what the Republican establishment had done, but the newspaper refused to print it. I had been wanting to do it for awhile anyway, so I started an alternative newspaper, the Fredericksburg Conservative. We distributed thousands of copies of each edition. The old issues are still online at www.fredericksburgconservative.com I was able to publish 8 issues before having to stop for various reasons. In 2016 there was another incident involving Republicans in Gillespie County. In this case, the Precinct Convention Chairman refused to give me a copy of the delegates to the county convention, which he was required to do by the Republican Party rules. The secretary of the Convention, Debbie Campbell, backed up the Chairman in offering various excuses why they were not required to give me a copy of the documents. Later I spoke privately with the Chairman, who continued to refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing. I told him, if you aren’t willing to tell me it won’t happen again, you don’t belong in leadership. He hung up on me. I again prepared a challenge and submitted it to the proper committee for the County Convention. The Committee acknowledged that the rule had been broken, and the Chairman was ousted from the County Convention. The Secretary of that meeting, Debbie Campbell, never admitted to any wrongdoing, and never apologized to me for her role. Now she wants to be Precinct Chairman of this Precinct. In early 2018 Olmos Park Police Chief Rene Valenciano assaulted and illegally arrested several peaceful citizens for openly carrying rifles in public places. Open Carry Texas held a rally, where a brigade size group of armed citizens peacefully marched all over the town, and staged in front of the police department where Chief Valenciano was supposedly hiding. I unfurled the 12’x20’ Come And Take It flag in front of the PD to the cheers of the crowd. We left a stack of petitions on the steps, since no one would come to the door, and then continued with out peaceful rally through the city. Valenciano was later fired. In 2020, in violation of the Texas and US Constitutions, Gov. Abbott locked down Texas. I wrote letters, made phone calls, and attended various rallies and protests against the unconstitutional measures, and did what I could to speak up for people like Shelly Luther, who was arrested for violating Abbott’s orders. I also did a 1-man remonstrance in front of the Gillespie County Courthouse, which is on youtube. One notable rally I attended was in May 2020 when the Sheriff of Ector County arrested a bar owner for refusing to follow Abbott’s lockdown, and arrested a number of armed supporters for no good reason. Open Carry Texas held an armed rally with over 100 people near the bar to defend the bar owner who continued to defy the lockdown orders, and I was there with OCT. I am not afraid to stand against tyrants in whatever manner is necessary to stop them. The bar stayed open, the Sheriff did nothing, the rally ended peacefully, and everyone went home. In May 2020 my employer decided to implement a requirement for us to quarantine at home while off the clock. I saw that these sorts of measures were going to turn into a full scale fight for freedom, I refused to comply, and was fired. I will defy these violations of unalienable rights, and I will fight against them however I can, and stand with others who do the same. June 2020 I signed on as a Plaintiff in Hotze v Abbott in Federal District Court, suing Gov. Abbott over violations of the US Constitution through his Wuhan lock-downs, contact tracing, etc. (case #4:2020cv02918 US District Court for the Southern District of Texas; https://dockets.justia.com/docket/texas/txsdce/4:2020cv02918/1789805) I have attended multiple rallies against the Covid tyranny. 2020 earned a General class ham license KI5MQP. About August 2020 I was appointed at Republican Precinct Chairman of Precinct 13 to fill a vacancy. My first action as a Precinct Chairman was to present a resolution declaring that Biden had stolen the election, and was not the President of the United States, and he should be immediately removed. 2021 I reactivated my Texas Peace Officer’s license. In Oct 2021 I went to the Knob Creek gun Range in Kentucky to sell Come And Take It flags at their last machine gun shoot, and I caught the Wuhan, and was sick for 3 days. I took Ivermectin, high concentrations of vitamins A, C, D, zinc, and a few other things. Oct 2021 Our county Republican organization was given a choice between using only paper ballots, or newly purchased Hart electronic voting machines for the Republican primary. In light of the stolen election of Nov 3, 2020, I argued vociferously against the electronic machines, but only 2 of us voted to reject the electronic machines. I intend to continue to work to move our county towards only paper ballot voting, as electronic machines are inherently unsecured, there is no way to verify the vote counts, and they are completely vulnerable to hacking. In Feb 2022 I proposed that the county Republican Party censure Gov Abbott for opposing the core principles of the Republican Party of Texas platform. To summarize, --I have a lifetime record of conservative political activism. --I will uphold the Constitutions of both Texas and the USA. --I will not compromise or back down from a fight. --I have no problem going against the Republican establishment when they are on the wrong side, and --I have demonstrated that I can carry on a fight in a intelligent and gracious manner, with the ultimate goal to preserve freedom and prosperity for us and our children. Summary of my actions as Precinct Chairman: --resolution that Joe Biden is not President, and should be removed; --fought to replace electronic voting machines with paper only ballots in our Republican primary; --Presented a censure of Gov. Abbott for violating our conservative principles; --election judge in 2 elections. A few words about my opponent, Debbie Campbell. I have known the Campbells, Dave and Debbie, for years. I worked for Dave for 8 years in his machine shop. I have attended multiple Republican meetings with Dave and Debbie, and I can tell you from personal experience that they are not conservatives. Plenty of times we have not been on the same side of issues. The Campbells have a history of supporting liberal Republicans. They supported Carter Casteel over Nathan Macias, and again, Doug Miller over Nathan Macias. Both Casteel and Miller had very liberal voting records. Casteel did not accurately convey to her constituency how she voted in Austin. In 2018 Dave ran against Kyle Biedermann, who turned out to be one of the most conservative state representatives in all of Texas. Abbott which included the following: “Sir, you have no Constitutional authority to shut down this state, close businesses, force people to stay in their homes or to follow certain medical protocols (wear a mask, etc), for those who have no symptoms of a contagious virus; nor do you have the authority to pass that unconstitutional authority down to lower levels of governments. “You need to stop this assault on our liberties immediately, admit you were wrong, and admit you had NO authority to do any of this, and promise to never do it again, nor allow anyone else to do it. “We are not grateful for a benevolent dictator; we want none at all!” I also attended various protests and demonstrations, and drove up to Ector County to intervene on behalf of a bar owner who was being unconstitutional forced to close her business due to lockdowns. I didn’t see Debbie up there. Examining this one issue, alone, should be enough to determine not only that I am a staunch defender of Constitutional rights, but I will do whatever is necessary to actually defend our rights; whereas, Debbie Campbell is none of the above. In a Facebook entry dated 2-11-18 she bashed Empower Texas, which, at the time was donating to some of the most conservative legislators in Texas.
